GRILLED CINNAMON PEACHES WITH PECANS – $
Fruit on the grill is a great alternative to baking. This simple dessert is perfect for a summer evening as you unplug and enjoy some outdoor time with friends and family.
Makes 8 Servings
1 Stick of Butter (Room Temp)
1/3 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Tablespoon Cinnamon
3/4 Cup Pecans
Vanilla Ice Cream
Step 1. Cut peaches in half and remove pits.
Step 2. Heat up the grill. In a medium sauce pan, lightly toast the pecans – stirring frequently.
Tip: When the pecans become fragrant they are done toasting.
Step 3. Add the butter, brown sugar and cinnamon to the pecans. Stir frequently until sauce begins to thicken slightly.
Step 4. Place peaches on grill, turning occasionally, until slightly soft and there are nice grill marks (4-6 minutes per side).
Tip: Don’t like peaches? Try a variation on this recipe by substituting peaches with your favorite seasonal fruit.
Step 5. Serve peaches with vanilla ice cream, top with the pecan sauce and dig in!
